"Request For Proposal (RFP), Friend or Foe?"
Thursday, May 5, 2016
Delta King Hotel, Old Sacramento
Meeting professionals agree, issuing a well thought out, formal request for proposal, (RFP), is the best way to communicate your organization’s needs and ensure that you get the right bids with the right concessions at the right hotels to review. So, what exactly goes in to this well thought out RFP? Hotels, venues, national representatives, third parties, convention & visitors bureaus, (CVB) all need to know the basics but what else are they looking for and how can you tweak your RFP to obtain the very best bids? Attend the May 5th chapter meeting and you’ll walk away with some important secrets that will help you develop a winning RFP.
A panel of industry professionals, including Ms. Theresa Ferrini, CGMP, Conference Planner for CA Institute for Behavioral Health Solutions; Ms. Nina Lemke, CGMP, Government Account Executive for Marriott International; and Ms. Lauren Siring, CMP, Regional Sales Executive, Monterey County CVB will provide insights to great tips, techniques, and ideas on how to put together a solid RFP to fit the needs of all parties.
