The SGMP Sacramento and SF Bay Area JEC returns to Sonoma County! The Grape Escape to Education will have a varietal of educational topics and networking opportunities that are sure to stimulate even the most sophisticated palates!
Our 2014 conference will be held in the Sonoma Wine Country at the beautiful and conveniently located Sheraton Sonoma County in Petaluma on Thursday, March 6, 2014. Our conference venue, the Sheraton Sonoma County-Petaluma is centrally located right off US-101 and Highway 116 (Lakeville Highway), easy to reach from all directions.
Planners and suppliers the JEC will expand your knowledge and experience with educational sessions and speakers who will enhance your skills, build upon your knowledge, and prepare you to plan and execute a successful government meeting!
The Joint Education Conference Committee is in the process of scheduling industry experts. These great education sessions have been confirmed:

It promises to be very exciting and a great learning environment! The day begins at 8:00 am with our opening general session. The tradeshow will be from 1:15 pm to 3:00 pm and a reception to wrap-up the day’s activities.

Attention, planners: We are pleased to inform you that your registration for this educational event is FREE UNTIL FEBRUARY 14, 2014; registration is $15.00 after February 14, 2014, this includes day of event walk-ins.
Suppliers, Exhibitor fees are as follows:
- Member Supplier Early Bird Fees: $475 (on or before 2/14/2014)
- Member Supplier Fees: $575 (after 2/14/2014)
- Non-Member Supplier Fees: $675 (limited spots are available)
Non-exhibiting suppliers will register online in general registration.

Act Fast: The Tradeshow will fill up fast! The fee includes one tabletop exhibit space with signage, continental breakfast, two breaks, lunch, evening reception, and registration for one attendee for the educational conference. There is an additional charge of $150 for each additional representative in the booth (maximum 2 per booth).
Your sponsorship provides you with a great marketing opportunity, as well as enables the Sacramento and San Francisco Bay Area SGMP Chapters provide a top-notch seminar. Attendees will consist of professional meeting, conference and events managers from throughout the California that plan state and nationwide events. There are many levels of sponsorship available!
Sponsors receive a 30% discount on their exhibitor fees, must be registered by February 15, 2014. Please download the “Sponsorship Form” and follow the directions.

We have contracted a group rate of $90.00 for state conference attendees and $114.00 for federal conference attendees and suppliers. To reserve your guest room at the Sheraton Sonoma County-Petaluma, please call the hotel at (888) 627-8458 or (707) 283-2888 and specify SGMP State Rate or SGMP Federal Rate (for suppliers also) to receive the proper group rate. Based upon availability, the rates are available Wednesday March 5th through checkout Sunday March 9th. The hotel will require State and Federal ID at check-in. Rates will be changed at time of check-in if the wrong rate has been reserved.
